Politics is taught in Sixth Form as an A-Level. Students complete the A-Level course with a thorough grounding in the practical mechanisms of the British government, political philosophy and international relations. This subject is ideal for anyone looking to study International Relations, Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE), Philosophy or History at university, or indeed anyone who wants to understand how our international and domestic political systems work.
Students are offered the opportunity to visit the Scottish Parliament, Westminster Parliament and there are optional overseas trips which in the past have taken our students to New York and Washington.
A-Level
